My Adventure Across the Brooklyn Bridge!

I headed on the Subway with Mandi to go see where she works and meet some of her co-workers. Mandi works right across the street from the former Twin Towers. (She didn't work there in 2001.) She showed me the views from the 33rd level where she works and they were beautiful.

This is the site of the Twin Tours and where they are rebuilding the memorial.

After I ate breakfast at Mandi's work, they get free breakfast in this special room where there is cereal, coffee, cocoa, etc. It was so cool! Then I headed to the Brooklyn Bridge. It was very nice out and I was doing so much walking that I wore only a long sleeve t-shirt. I thought I would only walk about halfway across the bridge, but when I got there, I needed more. I walked all the way across and back. The views were amazing and I couldn't take enough pictures.

I really enjoyed venturing out by myself to see what I wanted to see and taking a lot of pictures. New York is so beautiful in such a different way than Minnesota is. I did have to ask many strangers to take my picture at different places, but I am glad that I did. I also loved walking across the Brooklyn Bridge because it was free!
