Sunday Morning Brunch in Harlem

Saturday night, Mandi and I headed to her local grocery store to get ingredients for the brunch she was making in the morning. We walked to the store with her cart to carry all the groceries back in. It was an easy walk there, but we did go down three hills. It was an experience to shop. In fact, I had to have Mandi pose by a peculier product. You can decide for yourself. It was so cool to live like a New Yorker and do what New Yorkers do. Basically, life without the need of a car. And they survive perfectly fine without them. When we got in line to check out, the lines were very long and not moving quickly. Some customers were quite upset, since this seemed to be the norm lately at the store. One woman even went to the manager and shared her feelings so to speak. After we finally paid for our food, we headed back to Mandi and Sunil's. The ride was a bit tougher because we had to go up those three hills and they are BIG hills. We laughed a lot!

The next morning we woke up and just hung out. Mandi worked like crazy in the kitchen cooking for the brunch. Katt and Angela were coming to enjoy the meal as well. We all took our time getting ready and waiting for company to come. The brunch was AWESOME! Mandi can cook a mean quiche and a yummy Indian dish that tasted great with a little ketchup! I had to get a picture of Katt and Marlon, they are great buddies!

After brunch, we headed out for Mandi to bring Marlon home, drop off Katt at work, and I planned to go around town with Angela. Before we left, we took some group pictures in front of their place. Marlon did a great job of taking a picture of Katt, Angela, Mandi, and I.
