One of my Favorite Places: Central Park

After lunch with Mandi and some of her co-workers at a Belgian resturaunt, I headed to Central Park. The last time I visited New York, I fell in love with Central Park. The last time I visited it was a beautiful fall day. This particular day was cold, cloudy, and a bit drizzly. I was a bit saddened to see how brown the park was, but I still loved every minute. My mission was to visit the Belvedere Castle, because I wasn't able to see it last time. This park is so huge and there is no way that you can see it all in one or even two visits. As I walked through the park, I stopped at a few places to take pictures and see sights of the city.
The first place I stopped was at the gift shop which is in the cutest building. I would have loved to buy everything in there for Hailey and Ezra. They had the cutest gifts and shirts for them, but it was too expensive.

I saw a cute bridge that I wanted to have a picture of along with many pictures of the city!

I had to take a picture of this because I love movies. This resturant is form a scene in "27 Dresses" and I was thrilled to see it. I could have gone inside, but I didn't want to look stupid taking a picture. :)

This is a picture of Bethesda Terrace and fountain. The fountain isn't turned on, obviously. The last time I was in New York, this was a busy place with lots of food stands and entertainment. It was a bummer to see it so vacant and quiet.

Last, but not least, Belvedere Castle. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I had fun climbing up the two skinny spiral staircases to the top of the castle to see the view. I had a adorable couple take my picture, while I took theirs. I can't wait to visit this castle when the park is green! Breathtaking!!
