Mandi took me to this great shop called, darn, I can never remember the name of it. YIKES! Anyway, it was a huge store with so much to look at. It was overwhelming! We got Hailey some cute slippers and a pair for ourselves. Mandi also introduced me to some great candy and treats for Hailey and Ezra! While we were there, I tried on a hat. Why did I try a hat on you ask? Well I brought my hat from Minnesota and as soon as Mandi saw me wear it, she knew it needed to be replaced. Let's just say, it didn't fit the New York Style! So, perhaps this was the hat Mandi had in mind for me, or maybe not?
Mandi helped me pick out a little more of a stylish hat for a single mom of two. I love my new hat! Thanks Mandi. Here is a picture of us waiting for the subway, plus you can see the cute new hat too!
It was a pretty relaxing day. Mandi and I just walked around and ran into whatever we wanted to see. It was fun to just take in everything around us while we walked around.
We headed to Greenwich Village to get Marlon from her violin lesson. We were early, so Mandi took me to some of the cutest streets. This house is the house of the guy who created the word for phlem. Yes, it is! Mandi said so, of course, I had to have her pose in front of his home. She is such a great sport!
As we traveled on, I came across the street and exact place I want to live if I ever move to New York. It was so cute and so unique! I just started to dream about this place and wondered who was so lucky to live there. I wish they had more places and areas like this in Minnesota, but then New York wouldn't be as unique as it is. I can't wait to come back here and spend more time in the neighborhood shopping and eating.
