Hailey, Ezra, and I headed up to visit Papa Mark and Grandma Linda. It was quite a snowy weekend, but ti was nice to get out of town. We had a fun time there. We went and got some awesome book and videos at the library. We looked around at Christmas Point, my favorite store in Brainerd. We were able to relax and hang out together. Papa Mark spent time coloring with Hail and Ez. They loved looking at their books from the library too. We went and visited their friend, Dee, who was recovering from a stroke in the care center. She loved meeting Hailey and Ezra after all the stories she has heard from Grandma Linda about them. Grandma Linda played the piano while Hailey and Ezra danced around. Ezzie even wanted to try playing the piano, which wasn't that bad. Plus, Hailey loved trying to sing while Grandma played, even if he was making up the words. I grew up watching and hearing my mom play the piano, so good memories filled my mind as I watched her play again. My favorite song she played was Alley Cat, in fact, I still ask her to play it.
