Well there is some sad news in our home tonight. Lucy, our beloved kitty, has run away. She has become quite a big part of our life. She loves to cuddle and greets us every time we move. She especially loves my friend, Marie! If you have ever been to our house, you know that Lucy loves to hang out in the garage. I think it may be to get a break form the kids once in awhile. Earlier tonight we went for a walk and Lucy stayed in the garage and we closed the door. When we came back and got into the house, she must have run out before I closed the garage door. We searched the neighborhood on foot and in the car. The kids and I are hoping that she finds her way home tonight. We left out some food for her and left the garage door open a tiny bit for her to crawl in. We are praying for a safe return. It is weird how attached you get to your pets. Making dinner was so odd without having to put Lucy on the floor hundred times. We will keep you updated on our search for out kitty.
