SURPRISE!

Today is my 32nd birthday! Do I feel that old? No, not really. I woke up this morning waiting for a yummy moach to be delivered at my house. I was a bit lonely, wishing that the munchkins were home with me. To my surprise, Sue brought three girls along for the ride: Barbie (aka Grandma FooFoo), Sarah, and Becky. (If I would have known they were all coming, I would have at least showered.) It was an awesome surprise and I was so thankful. They brought me coffee, danish, fruit, gossip magazines, a CHOCOLATE CHIP muffin, hilarious, yet thoughtful, birthday cards, and lots of laughter! We enjoyed breakfast together and then hung out for a bit. The Bonine family has ALWAYS been wonderful to me and my kids, especially my kids. God has blessed me with amazing family and friends. You know the old footprints poem, where the man is walking on the beach with God. Sometimes there was only one set of prints and the man asks God why he left him. God says I didn't leave you, I carried you. As I look back on the path I have walked on the beach, I not only see where God has carried me, but also how God has used events in my life to bless and shower me with his love. The people he has placed in my life to help get me through life. The people who accept me for me and invest their time into helping me become what God has called me to be. Sometimes honesty and accountability from those around you can be hard to hear, but I am so thankful my family and friends want me to continue to grow and learn. God is so good!
