Barbie, aka Grandma FooFoo, text me that they were having a Trick or Treat event at Byerly's on Tuesday night. When I went to Grandma Sal's to get Hail and Ex, we threw on their costumes, jumped in the car, and drove to Byerly's. Yes, I did drag Grandma Sal along as well. We had to hurry because it ended at 7:00 and we left Sal's about 6:20ish. It was a fairly quick event. Hailey and Ezra followed the pumpkins and ghosts on the floor around the store to different stations where they gave them a treat. Now, I was a bit disappointed because I was hoping to sneak a few candy bars from their bags. At Byerly's though they hand out healthy snacks, like bags of mini carrots. WOW! It was so wonderful that they are taking a healthy approach. (I really do not need the chocolate anyway.) I am so glad that Grandma Sal came with because I needed her help. It went so quickly, that we were back in the car and on our way to Grandma Sal's before we knew it. It was a really fun event and I can't wait until next year when we can go a bit earlier. Ezzie was exhausted when we got back and cuddled with Grandpa Dick to do his nebulizer. A special thanks to Grandma FooFoo for informing us of such a special event. A very special thank you to Grandma Sal for coming along and helping us out.
