The ceremony was filled with tradition and it was so neat! Mason was a champ the entire service and loved being the center of attention.
After the ceremony, we tried to take some pictures of Kyla, Ben, and Mason by the fountain. It was hard to get all three of them to look and smile at the same time. But the shot I did love, was where Mason and Kyla are smiling so proudly at their handsome son. It is so sweet and yet it shows how much they love Mason.

After the ceremony, we headed back to Ben and Kyla's to celebrate. The food was plentiful and delicious. Kyla's dad made a wonderfully yummy cake for Mason with his picture on it. Her dad is a great cook and I fell in love with his red velvet cupcakes that he brought to the party as well. YUM! Mason played with his ball, pushing it back and forth with his daddy. But since the morning was so busy, Mason slept most of the party. It was a great time to celebrate him and visit with family. Kyla's friend, Cassie, was there. I have gotten to know Cassie a little bit better now and she is a sweetheart and a great friend to Ben and Kyla. The more I get to know Kyla, the more I adore her. She is a great mom and a perfect fit for my brother.

It was also a joy to spend some time with Auntie Carole at the party. Recently, Auntie Carole was diagnosed with cancer and the outlook isn't good. However, we pray for a miracle to occur. One of the best memories I have about Auntie Carole is that whenever I am with her, we laugh and we laugh hard! She is a hard worker and loves her family. I am doing all I can to cherish the time I have with her and help her out in whatever way I possibly can. I love her dearly and was so glad that she was able to help celebrate Mason's baptism with all of us.

As the party wrapped up, Mason awoke from his nap to open a few presents. Grandma Linda made him a cozy blanket and Cassie made him a rocking chair. These two presents were enough to keep him busy and occupied for awhile. We also snapped a few shots with the Godparents and Grandpa Craig. It was such a great day! I was so glad to be a part of it.
