Fishing, worms, haircuts, rollerblades, bikes...

All of the above events occurred at Grandma Sue's house one weekend. Hailey loves worms and holding them. It is gross, but I am glad she isn't a total scaredy cat, like her mom. This time she wanted me to hold one with her for a picture. They are squirmy little things. YUCK! Of course, she wants to bring them home and keep them as pets. Oh boy!! (Yes, I know I look a little weird for the picture, Grandma Sue was putting highlights into my hair. YIKES!)

Ezzie has picked up a new activity that he loves! Rollerblading! He doesn't want to start with rollerskates, he wants to go straight to rollerblades. Of course, this just looks like an accident waiting to happen, skinned knees perhaps. But he insists he MUST have rollerblades! I found some that have training wheels. He wasn't thrilled about the training wheels, but he has gotten over it now. Except he does bug me daily to take them off. He loves just rolling all around, even in the house if I let him. By the end of the day, his legs are sore and he is tired out. But the next day, he has them right back on again!

The other highlight of Ezzie's day was to go fishing with Uncle Jeff and Papa. He was so excited and ready for boy time! He arranged his tackle box that Papa Dan got for him, grabbed his Spiderman fishing pole from Uncle Jeff and Auntie Kim, and was ready to head out. After they got back from fishing for a few hours, Ezzie told me he got skunked. Apparently that means they didn't get any fish. He didn't seem to be too disappointed. I think he was just happy with the time he got with Uncle Jeff and Papa.

Hailey and Ezzie adore their Uncle Jeff and Auntie Kim. They love spending time with them and their puppies, Junior and Boo. Uncle Jeff was having fun teasing Hailey that he was going to ride her bike around for awhile. As you can see, he had to be uncomfortable. We just LOVE Auntie Kim, Uncle Jeff, and their puppies. Now we anticipate the arrival of their new baby! It will be great to have another baby in the Sprick home. January can't come soon enough!
