The Art of Making Fudge

As I described in a previous post, a tradition in my family is making my dad's famous fudge. It is the BEST tasting chocolate I have ever had and I looked forward to it every Christmas. In Brainerd, I wanted to make a pan for Mom and Mark. As I started spinning it for the required smoothness, I asked Ben if he wanted to help. Ben acted like it was no big deal. Seriously, as crazy as this sounds the ten to twelve minutes to make this fudge smooth as silk seems to take forever and kill your arms. I was teasing Ben quite a bit, especially when he had to changed arms to keep spinning. I had to get a picture of him working so hard and of course, Hailey was amazed as I was that it was so hard for him! :) Love you Ben!! By the way, bud, it still wasn't very smooth-guess you'll have to spin it longer next time.
