Dear Friends!

To give you some background, Carrie and I met a little over eleven years ago. It was at Chisago Lakes Primary School, where I had my first teaching job in second grade. Little did I know then, what a solid friend Carrie would be in my life. We became instant friends and strong colleagues and teaching partners. Jump ahead a few years and a lot has changed. Carrie has stood by me through marriage, job changes, Taebo, losing and gaining weight, loss of a student, pregnancies (hers and mine), moves, divorce, and so much more. She has been a foundation in my life and helped me through so much. She may just listen and not offer advice, but sometimes listening is all you need. She has been an amazing friend. I am forever grateful and so lucky to have her in my life.
A prayer was answered when she found out she was pregnant again this past spring. It was so exciting and seemed to go by quickly. Blake was born about four weeks ago and it such a beautiful boy. I was able to visit them in the hospital. Carrie, of course, looked great.

Last weekend, the kids and I headed "Up North" to spend the afternoon at the Fredstrom's. The kids love going there because they have a great yard to play in, LOTS of toys, and they have cats. Hailey was especially excited to meet Blake and hold him. Plus, Carrie and I always have so much to talk about and we spend quite a bit of time laughing together. Erick is the icing on the cake because he provides us with good snacks and hilarious stories. All around it is a great time and we always look forward to spending time with the Fredstrom's.

Thank you Fredstrom's for being so special and for being such wonderful friends to us!
