Girl's Shopping Night

My friend, Heather, and I met at our church while we participated in a parenting study. We went to New Life together when we were younger, but we didn't know each other very well. We have spent more time together lately and our kids have really enjoyed getting to know each other and play together. Heather has three kids, two of whom are twins (Jacob and Yaya) and John. Hailey, Ezzie, and I headed to their house one evening after school. They have a nice big backyard where the kids can run all around. The view from their backyard is amazing, it is of the St. Croix River.

Heather, her daughter, Yaya, Hailey, and I headed out to do some shopping. Yaya needed a dress for her uncle's wedding and we thought it might be fun to make it a girl's event. We enjoyed finding dresses for Yaya to try on and Hailey tried a few on, as well. Hailey and Yaya also tried to convince Heather and I to buy them all the toys in the store. I have proof, because Yaya took all the toys off a shelf and wanted to buy them, and I took a picture. We had fun in the dressing room taking pictures and laughing. Heather is a great friend and makes me laugh. Our Girl's shopping night was short, but sweet. Plus, we found Yaya a really cute dress!
