Christmas at Miller's is so much fun and the little ones make it even more fun. Hailey and Ezzie enjoyed playing with Allie, Jamie and Ryan's little girl. At first, Ezzie was unsure about her. He thought she was trying to take his toys away. After we explained that she wanted to play with him, he felt better about having her around. But he had to show her how his toys worked. Hailey, of course, mothered her around and loved showing her the toys she had gotten.
Everyone that same had to bring a gift of $20 or less. Grandma Sue was the first to choose a gift. Hailey helped Grandma choose the right one (even thought Grandma changed her mind to choose a big wrapped box.) It just so happened that Grandma picked Uncle Jeff's gift, which was a young girl's princess dress. Hailey fell in love with it instantly, which meant that Grandma would not be going home with a gift. It will forever be a great memory. I am not sure Hailey still gets that Uncle Jeff didn't know she was going to get the dress. It was so great! The best part was when Ezzie went downstairs to cuddle with Papa Dan and fell asleep! Adorable and priceless!!
