Hailey really loved being with Aunt Penny's dad. He just loves Hailey and they hung out for awhile. Hailey has such a compassionate heart. At dinner, Hailey and Ezzie were the only kids and they were so quiet and very well behaved. They ate so well too. I think they are starting to LOVE and cherish the Mattson traditional foods.
One of the highlights of the evening was when Ezzie crawled up into my Aunt Candy's lap. Like I have said in previous posts, we get together once a month with Aunt Candy. Sometimes Ezzie can be a stinker about saying goodbye to her and I can never get a picture of them together. Well on this night, Ezzie crawled right into her lap and smiled for a picture. Obviously, he was reminding us that Christmas is the season of giving!
After dinner, we opened gifts. This was really hard because everyone there gave gifts to me and my kids. But I hardly have enough money to put gas in my car, let alone buy gifts. I felt awful and hope they can understand. Then Ezra's allergies went crazy! His nose was running, he was coughing, and his eyes were red. I forgot to bring Benadryl. AHHHHHHH!
Overall, it was a lot of fun and I enjoy spending time with my family.
