I had the honor of throwing Kyla a baby shower at my home. I have to say that I could never have done it without the help of my friend, Marie, Auntie Carole, and Aunt Candy. Marie helped me keep sane while we cleaned the house and got it ready for a day of guests. Auntie Carole and Aunt Candy made the biscuits for the strawberry shortcake and Auntie Carole made the meat for the sloppy joe's. My two aunties were working very hard and I could not have done it without their help. Sue, my mother-in-law, helped clean the house by vacuuming and cleaning the walls after Ez's party. Sue has always been good at helping me keep the house clean! Molly, Aunt Penny, and Aunt Candy brought food to help me out, as well. I sure am thankful for that too! Hailey was my party planner helper-she helped put pop in the cooler, pick out the gift, pick out prizes for the games, and be the entertainment! I was so excited to throw this party for Kyla, because I can't wait for Baby Boy Mattson to arrive. I hope I can help her, if she needs it. I did give her some of my baby clothes and baby things that she thought might be useful. It was great that Kyla's mom, aunt, and grandma came to the shower. The food was good, the games a bit corny, and the presents were plentiful! It was so much fun. I sure hope that Kyla had a good time. Molly made the baby one of her beautiful quilts, it was so cozy!
