Ezzie is 4 today!

Today is a very special day! My baby, Ezra, is four years old today. It seems like yesterday when he was born and the past four years flew by very fast. He has been a special boy from the start. We were quite worried about him because he arrived early and spent some time in the NICU. But now he is healthy and ALL boy.
Ezra has taught me a lot in four years. He has taught me that motherhood is my most important job and I am the luckiest mom yo have him as my little boy. He has taught me how to love unconditionally, keep some adventure in my life, try new things, laugh as often as I can, and live life to the fullest.
He is a cuddle bug. He loves to cuddle with mom, Grandma, and his aunties. He has a very sensitive heart and shows concern for others. He takes great care of his older sister and always makes sure that she is safe and loved. Whenever, I have a bad day, Ezzie is the first one to crawl in my lap, cuddle with me, and tell me how much he loves me. I love the way that we can be driving in the car and out of the blue, Ezra will say, "I love you mom." He is such a sweet boy.
He loves to spend time with "the boys." He cherishes time that he can do work around Papa Dan's house, playing baseball or soccer, and fishing with whoever will take him. He shines when he can just be a boy and do boy things. He craves time and attention with "the boys." I thank God for all the wonderful men he has put in Ezzie's life. He is able to watch examples of men who treat women with love and respect, live their life for God, put their family first, and most of all spend quality time with Ezra and show they are investing in him.
I appreciate how he wants to be friends with every child we encounter, whether it is at the store or at school. If we go to a park he will run up to any boy and ask if he wants to play. He quickly calls them his buddy. He loves to hug everyone good-bye if we leave somewhere. He is very smart and always asks A LOT of questions. He keeps me on my toes and he never accepts stupid, dumb answers.
Most of all, Ezzie loves to have fun. He can put a smile on anyone's face. He says the funniest things and laughs at himself. He also says the cutest things, such as his favorite candy is, "Reeses Penis Butter Cups." Hilarious!!
Ezzie has been a blessing and I hope that I can appreciate everyday that I am with him. My prayer is that I can raise him to live a life for God, know how to treat others, especially girls, and desire to be a driven and successful man in anything that he does.
I love you so much Ezra! You have brightened my life and changed it so greatly. You make our family complete. Thank you for being the "man od the house" with Hailey and your mom. Happy 4th Birthday Little Man!
