On Sunday evening, Aunt Candy and I decided to take the kids out to dinner. We invited my dad to come along as well. We chose to go to a great little place called the Old Log Cabin in Forest Lake. It is seriously in a log cabin building and the food is great. We enjoyed great food, conversation, and laughter. Aunt Candy spends time once a month with Hailey, Ezzie, and me. We really enjoy our time with her and look forward to it. She is quite helpful with bedtime routines and building relationships with the kids. Grandpa and Hailey practiced writing their names after dinner. Grandpa even quizzed her to see if she could recognize her name. Ezzie and Papa also played Spiderman together. It was really fun and great to connect.
